Per Morten Sandset , MD, PhD
Per Morten Sandset is a Norwegian doctor at Oslo University Hospital and professor of medicine at the University of Oslo.
He is a specialist in general internal medicine and blood disorders, and is research director at the Cancer, surgical procedure and transplantation clinic and chief physician at the Department of Haematology at Oslo University. He was previously Head of the Hematology Department at Ullevaal University Hospital (2002-2010). Dr. Sandset was appointed professor at the University in 2002. He received his doctorate in 1989 at the University with the dissertation Studies on Tissue Factor Pathway Inhibitor. He has been doing research in San Diego, USA, and in Florence, Italy. Dr. Sandset is Editor-in-Chief of the international journal Thrombosis Research.
