Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are conducting a survey of clinicians that regularly treat and make decisions for patients with venous thromboembolism and would like your help. The survey is looking at how clinicians decide on treatment of patients.
This research has full approval by the Research and Development Department at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Human Research Authority (IRAS: 266358). NHS research ethics committee approval was not required as this is a clinicians survey though an internal ethical review gave approval at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The questionnaire will take less than 10 minutes. All responses will be anonymous. To undertake the questionnaire you should be:
- Nurse or doctor that treats patients with venous thromboembolism
- Either a General Practitioner (GP), vascular surgeon, respiratory physician, haematologist, acute or general medicine doctor, nurse in either a deep vein thrombosis or anticoagulant clinic
- If a doctor to work in either medicine, respiratory medicine, vascular surgery, GP or haematology at Consultant/ST3+ level or above (or GP registrar / qualified GP)
- If a nurse to work in a thrombosis clinic or anticoagulant clinic
