The INVENT-VTE Network is thrilled to welcome the newest National Thrombosis Research Network to join our international network: UK Thrombosis Research Network (UK-TReN). Following INVENT Council's approval of the membership application, UK-TReN becomes the 11th network-member of INVENT. 

UK-TReN is a recently formed clinician-led network of healthcare professionals with an interest in thrombosis research, developed as an off-shoot from the NIHR Haematology Clinical Research Network. The network aims to increase collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical and scientific thrombosis research nationally and globally. UK-TReN currently has approximately 70 members and is led by a steering committee.

Dr. Lara Roberts, MBBS, MD(Res), MRCP, FRCPath, and Dr. Raza Alikhan, MD, FRCP, FRCPath, have been appointed as national representatives by the UK-TReN Network to sit on INVENT-VTE Council.

The INVENT community is eager to connect and collaborate with UK-TReN members and look forward to years of fruitful collaborations!
