The INVENT-VTE Network is thrilled to announce that we have awarded two outstanding trainees with ISTH-INVENT Training Fellowship awards through the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis's 2024 Training Fellowship Program (ISTH-TF Program).

September 2, 2024 – The INVENT-VTE Network is pleased to announce that the TRIM-Line Study,  led by Dr. Marc Carrier, and the HIPSTER Study, led by Dr. Federico Germini, have been endorsed and awarded international expansion funding in this year's network Dragons' Den Competition in Bangkok Thailand at ISTH 2024.

We are now accepting applications for the Fall 2023 INVENT Kickstarter Awards - funding intended to help Principal Investigators initiate new international study sites in INVENT Network Member Countries.

August 31, 2023 - The INVENT-VTE Network held its 2023  Dragons' Den Competition on June 25, 2023 at ISTH 2023 in Montreal, QC, Canada. Presenting in front of our INVENT Dragons and near full capacity session of colleagues in attendance, three investigators pitched their clinical VTE / thrombosis studies for a chance at a $40,000 (CAD) International Collaboration Prize & a $20,000 runner-up prize.

Mark your calendars, as the stage is set for the INVENT-VTE Network's 2023 Dragons' Den Competition at the ISTH Congress 2023 in Montréal, QC, Canada on Sunday, June 25, 2023 from 12:00-1:00 pm ET (local time) at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal (Conference venue) in Room 519. 

Come watch three selected clinical investigators pitch their VTE research studies to three expert judges (Dragons) - Drs. Beverly Hunt, Jean Connors, and Sudeep Shivakumar - for a chance at a $40,000 (CAD) International Collaboration Prize!

The INVENT-VTE Network is thrilled to welcome the newest National Thrombosis Research Network to join our international network: UK Thrombosis Research Network (UK-TReN). Following INVENT Council's approval of the membership application, UK-TReN becomes the 11th network-member of INVENT.
