The INVENT-VTE Network recently held the fall cycle of its 2021-2022 Kickstarter Awards. Following an independent review process, INVENT has awarded the study titled "Comparison of 3 Diagnostic Strategies of PE: Planar V/Q Scan, CTPA, and V/Q SPECT" (Spectacular Study) a $20,000 (CAD) Kickstarter Award and official network endorsement.

August 19, 2021 - The INVENT Network held its 4th Annual Dragons' Den Competition on Thursday, July 8, 2021 via live webinar.  Presenting in front of our INVENT Dragons and over 40 colleagues in attendance, four clinical VTE / thrombosis studies were presented for a chance at a $40,000 (CAD) International Collaboration Prize.

INVENT-VTE is thrilled to welcome the newest National VTE Research Network to join the network: The China Pulmonary Thromboembolism Registry Study Network (CURES Network). INVENT-VTE Council approved the network membership application at the most recent Council meeting in February 2021.
