Become an INVENT National VTE Research Network Member

INVENT seeks to facilitate research through collaboration between National VTE Research Networks, and to promote a global culture of curiosity, scientific rigor and social responsibility in the conduct of VTE clinical research.

Become a PROFESSIONAL Member 

If you are a  member of an INVENT National VTE Research Network, you are eligible for INVENT Professional Membership.  There is no cost for eligible members - simply register to join our mailing list and receive membership benefits. 

INVENT Professional Membership 

INVENT Professional Members will have access to the following:

• Ability to apply to INVENT for study endorsement and promotion
• Ability to apply to INVENT funding opportunities
• Access and downloading of shared resources
• Use of INVENT platforms and tools – e.g., Web Adjudication platform, Teleconference platform, Email distribution for surveys, etc.
• Ability to contribute to network development activities such as strategic planning
• Invitation to participate in INVENT working groups or committees
• Invitation to INVENT’s social or networking events

Responsibilities 

Professional Members are expected to be involved in one or more Network activities.  Activities may include, but are not limited to:

• Being a principal investigator, co-investigator, or team member of an INVENT Endorsed Study
• Being an active member of an INVENT working group or committee
• Attending the Dragons’ Den Competition or other INVENT networking activities
• Responding to requests to participate in online surveys, feedback requests, or other collaborative activities

In addition, members are expected to stay abreast of network communications through e-mail and/or social media. 

Eligibility 

  In order to qualify to be an INVENT Professional Member, you must meet the following conditions:

• Must be a member of an INVENT National VTE Research Network
• Must have an interest in academic clinical research that can be applied to questions related to VTE

Cost

• The cost of Professional Membership is FREE for members of INVENT National VTE Research Networks.
