The INVENT-VTE Network is thrilled to announce that three international trainees have been awarded ISTH-INVENT Training Fellowships through International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis's (ISTH) Training Fellowship Program (ISTH-TF Program)!

INVENT partnered with ISTH to offer this joint Training Fellowship in an effort to encourage collaboration between international VTE / thrombosis research networks through this unique training program! 

The grants in this program provide fellows with financial support for travel, accommodation and living expenses for a fellowship period of up to two (2) months (with the possibility to extend for 4 months for accepted applicants). It is intended for clinicians and scientists at an early stage in their career (within 10 years of completion of PhD or completion of clinical sub-specialty training).

  • Jenneke Leentjens, M.D., Ph.D. (the Netherlands)
  • Maria Rita Peralta, M.D. (U.K.)
  • Nicola Potere, M.D. (Italy)
