The INVENT-VTE Network is thrilled to announce that following an independent review process, four endorsed studies have been awarded study expansion funding in the Fall 2022 Kickstarter Awards competition.

The network established the Kickstarter Awards competition to support international study expansion of INVENT Endorsed Studies. Funds are intended to help Principal Investigators of academic studies initiate new international sites at INVENT-Member Countries through start-up activities that are not covered by the primary funding for the study.

The following collaborations have been awarded $20K (CAD) Kickstarter Awards:

  • Dr. Jean-Philippe Galanaud, University of Toronto, Canada of the CanVECTOR Network (Canada) to facilitate the expansion of the API-CALF Study into the INNoVTE Network (France) in collaboration with Dr. Marc Righini, University of Geneva, Switzerland, and Dr. Jean-Luc Bosson, Le Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Grenoble-Alpes, France.

A Reduced Dose of Thrombolytic Treatment for Patients with Intermediate High-Risk Acute Pulmonary Embolism (PEITHO-3)

Prospective Evaluation of Peripartum Anticoagulation Management for Thromboembolism (PREP and GO)

INVENT is proud to endorse such high-quality, practice-changing studies and provide Kickstarter funding to expedite recruitment and, ultimately, completion of the studies.

Thank you to all who applied, and we encourage prospective applicants to stay connected for upcoming competitions and opportunities.
